At the end of 2013, an Eiffel Tower was installed on a roundabout in the city of Fes, Morocco. Later on, it was removed. This film tries to answer the following questions: how do objects become integrated into a society’s collective unconscious? How do individuals perceive these objects, which come from their former colonizer?

Ghita Skali

Ghita Skali (born 1992 in Casablanca) is an artist based in Amsterdam. She studied in France, first at Villa Arson, Nice then at the post-graduate program of the Fine Arts School in Lyon. She was a De Ateliers (Amsterdam) participant between 2018 and 2020.
