November will feature Canadian soprano and conductor Barbara Hannigan through the film Zorn III by Mathieu Amalric, presented for free in partnership with Bourgie Hall. This documentary delves into the world of soprano and conductor Barbara Hannigan, capturing her intense rehearsals and creative process with pianist Stephen Gosling. The film also documents the creation of a new work by New York composer John Zorn, specially crafted for Hannigan.
In December, the year will close with the free presentation of the film Gabor by Joannie Lafrenière, an intimate portrait of Hungarian-Canadian photographer Gabor Szilasi. The film explores his life and work, documenting the elegance of everyday life in Quebec for over sixty years.
