Philippe Meunier

Philippe Meunier has been involved in the world of dance for over 20 years as a performer and choreographer. In 2019, he founded, with Ian Yaworski, the dance company Les Archipels and proposes his vision of a contemporary dance that uses jigging and traditional Quebec folklore as a creative engine. Combined with his passion for dance, Philippe Meunier offers an innovative and creative look at movement by making videos for various artists and events. Since 2009, he has been directing, capturing and editing the majority of his projects and collaborations. At the origin of a rich body of work in video-dance films, he has worked to develop his style both in artistic short films and in videos summarizing events (performance, sports, music). He has also produced over fifty promotional videos for various members of the artistic community.
