“How far would we go for a photograph?” This is the question asked by the New York filmmaker Annie Berman. See the result of her 20-year exploration of fandom, memorabilia, memory, and legacy within the orbits of three of the biggest cultural icons of our time: Pope John Paul II, Elvis Presley, and Diana, Princess of Wales. Although the film refers to a pre-social-media era, it is timely and sincere. This feature-length film is funny, ironic, personal, and profound all at the same time. A very special treat.
