Macià Florit Campins (Ciutadella de Menorca, 1990). Spanish filmmaker born in Menorca, who lives and works in Barcelona. He has a BA in Humanities from UPF University and, thanks to the DOCMA scholarship, he completed an MA in Documentary Film in Madrid at the IPECC-Centro Cultural Matadero. Since 2015 he has worked as a director and editor at the film production company Elsabeth, based in Solsona. His professional experience includes the production of TV cultural shows, music videos, and documentary and fiction feature films. After directing four short documentaries, in 2021 he completed ​“Pedra pàtria” (Native Rock), his first feature film as a director. The film was premiered in Doclisboa, nominee for the Doc Alliance Award, and selected at Visions du Réel, DOK Leipzig or Alcances, where it received the award for best film. The short film ​“Totem” is his last film work.
