Le FIFA is making a name for itself in the Hauts-de-France region, with screenings at Le Fresnoy, Louvre-Lens and the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille.

Two prominent museums in the Hauts-de-France region, the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille and the Louvre-Lens, join forces with Fresnoy – Studio national to honor the International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA).

On Friday November 17, Saturday November 18 and Sunday November 19, Le FIFA fans in France can look forward to a program of seven (7) feature-length films and eight (8) award-winning short and medium-length films from nine different countries. Canada’s highlights include Manuel Mathieus Pendulum, Thomas Pisons Propriété privée and Joannie Lafrenières Gabor.

After more than two decades of fruitful collaboration with Le Fresnoy — Studio national des arts contemporains, described as a high-tech Villa Médicis”, it’s now the turn of the Louvre-Lens and the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille to welcome Le FIFA for a special program.

This quadripartite alliance underscores Le FIFA’s growing reach in France, as well as the commitment of these institutions of excellence to actively promote the production and distribution of films on art and the media arts. It explores a multitude of artistic disciplines and themes, while fostering the emergence of new creative talent for the general public, film buffs and enlightened art lovers alike. Driven by this shared mission, the Festival looks forward to this new high-flying prospect.
