Find FIFA films on tour across Quebec

For this third edition of the FIFA year-round screenings in Quebec, the stories and filmmakers from our province are hitting the roads of Quebec to connect with new audiences. From the Laurentians to the Bas-Saint-Laurent, passing through the Mauricie region, this FIFA-themed program is proudly displayed in towns and villages across the province.

Once again this year, thanks to the support of LA CAISSE, we have the honor of paying a warm tribute to Monic Brassard and Yvon Cozic (†), a duo of artists in vivid colors, for whom art was both a source of joy and a guiding force in life. Sculptor Robert Roussil immerses us in a free language, true to his life and work. With Emmanuel Schwartz, students from the École de Théâtre Professionnel du Collège Lionel-Groulx reveal their deeply moving talent. Neil Diamond and Joanne Robertson take us into the influence of Yupik and Kwakwakawak brands on surrealism.

Quebecois dance shines through the films of Valeria Galluccio (Meilleur court-métrage canadien, FIFA 43), Brittney Canda and Kyra Jean Green, who explore dark humor in the face of oppression, as well as Chélanie Beaudin-Quintin, who highlights the strength of the group against creeping individualism.

Frédéric Boisclair and Charles-André Coderre
immerse us in the industrial imagination of the Mauricie region. Painter and printmaker Kittie Bruneau is tenderly portrayed by Céline Goudreau, Pascale Robitaille, and Alain Goudreau (†). German Gutierrez offers an audiovisual poem to Lyne Lapointe, combining beauty, humor, and poetry. Finally, at 95 years old, Fernand Dansereau shares his knowledge with remarkable sensitivity and humanity.

Bringing this program to life is a great source of pride for me: it allows us to bring together film lovers, both loyal and new, and to make the latest artistic works accessible across all corners of Quebec. I warmly thank our distribution partners, who open their doors year after year to offer our audiences the best in art and cinema.” – Andreina Aveledo, Year-round activities programmer.
