Trailer
Who knows Anna-Eva Bergman (1909−1987)? Like many female artists, this abstract painter was overlooked by art history, not only because she was the wife of the famous artist Hans Hartung, but because her minimalist canvases went against the grain of her time. Today, Bergman’s work, imbued with deep spirituality, resonates with the most current quests for meaning. Charlotte Rampling’s narration accompanies the rediscovery of one of the most important contemporary artists, and her retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
