This film traces the journey of Anton Hirschfeld, a young man with a mental disability who was never expected to become a recognized artist. Selected at FIPADOC, France (2024), this unique creation has been filmed since his birth by his mother. His path unfolds through determination, the unwavering love of his family, and the key encounters that shaped his life. An intimate and inspiring immersion into an extraordinary destiny.

Director’s Note:
The idea developed alongside the emergence of his talent as a painter. I found it fascinating that what set him apart in life became a strength when he painted. His unique perceptions — his hypersensitivity to sounds, light, movement, his attention to detail, his sense of rhythm, his way of listening to music — are truly cinematic! I wanted them to be at the heart of the film. One of the goals of the film was to capture and exploit these visual and auditory possibilities, transforming them into an aesthetic experience by linking them to his paintings. Trying to see the world through Anton’s eyes.
