Trailer
Phuong is released from prison and returns to her native province. She reunites with Khang, her childhood love, but no longer recognizes her village. The old-timers have left, the factories have closed, and Khang must leave for Saigon where he has found a new job. In the last five years, all the brick factories in Dong Thap province have shut down, and Saigon has suddenly bristled with countless skyscrapers. Genèse urbaine questions the space left for love when time passes faster than the clouds. A profound reflection through dance on the consequences of urban development and the disappearance of traditional pottery workshops in Vietnam.
