Four female artists from neighbouring towns— Beauharnois, Mercier, Saint-Isidore, and Sainte-Martine — combine their radically different approaches to form a collective and create a public art installation in a park. Investigating the creative process and cultural mediation within the community, this documentary offers an illuminating look at creation and its ability to unite. Through these four engaging women, viewers witness a community coming together to foster a strong sense of belonging.

As he was still a student, exploring anthropology, social sciences, archeology, and art history, André Desrochers met Arthur Lamothe, a filmmaker that opened the dialogue with abused lumberjacks and despoiled Innus. For more than 30 years, they worked together. André Desrochers directed 4 television series and 15 documentaries, and won in 2003 the Jutra Award for Best Documentary for Rien sans pennes.
