Hairy Dreams
This film will be presented during the event La Nuit de la danse on March 21, 2024 at Théâtre Outremont.

Hairy Dreams portrays the inner world of a solitary yet carefree character. Using both words and movement, this visually abstract narrative unfolds within a white cave-like space constructed of paper. Inside an origami-like igloo, a surreal collection of images exposes the daily life of an androgynous figure. Through a series of disparate actions, the character continuously constructs and deconstructs its transparent inner world. In this pursuit of an inner sanctuary, time remains a constant presence, simultaneously haunting and offering valuable companionship. Ultimately, the character’s daily routine leads to its primary objective: the vital necessity to nourish itself in order to sustain the ongoing dream.
