ARCHES : Casa d’Italia
Luigi Capasso
Both a musical and an architectural film, this short film introduces us to the first Italian community centre in Montreal: the Casa d’Italia, a building in the Streamline Moderne style, which made it possible to meet, to create regional and professional associations and to celebrate weddings! The visit is punctuated by the songs of the Montreal vocal ensemble and soloists Les Rugissants, including the piece E si fussi pisci, a Sicilian love song, composed by Luciano Berio. A nod to the many love stories that have been experienced there!

Après des études académiques en peinture et en photographie à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Naples, il s’installe au Canada en 2013 où il commence à travailler comme directeur de la photographie et directeur pour la publicité.
