Author Amos Oz is a symbol of Israeli conscience, and his work has been translated into 45 languages. Yet, behind his international success hides a double tragedy: when he was 12, his mother committed suicide, and a few years before his death, his daughter accused him of being physically and psychologically abusive and broke off all communication with him. In a series of conversations with his last biographer, Amos Oz tells his last story, through biographical passages, literature, and conversations with the main figures in his life.
