Explore the deepest details of the human body with a whole new proximity. In this experimental short film, Québec choreographer Emmanuel Jouthe, French filmmaker Xavier Curnillon, and Québec composer Antoine Berthiaume capture the organic dimension of human bodies in a true testimony to the body’s strengths, beauty, and diversity.

Xavier Curnillon

Xavier Curnillon is a director, editor and visual artist based in Montreal. He specializes in capturing movement and conceptualizing projects related to dance. His films focus on the microcosm of the human body in our society. He has built up his experience in video dance by collaborating with numerous choreographers such as Louise Bédard, Paul-André Fortier, Hélène Blackburn, Danièle Desnoyers, Mélanie Demers, Ann Van den Broek, Virginie Brunelle, Kettly Noël, Morgane Le Tiec, Sylvain Émard, Paco Ziel, Emmanuel Jouthe, Su Feh-Lee, Manuel Roque, Ismaël Mouaraki, Catherine Gaudet, Valeria Gallucio and Jérémy Galdeano.
