She is a film adaptation of a solo dance performance of the same name. The original work created and performed by Dorotea Saykaly was presented to the general public in 2019. Inspired by Clarice Lispector’s The Passion According to G.H., the solo revolved around identity and doubt. This adaptation was born during the first COVID lockdown in 2020, a collaboration between Dorotea Saykaly and director Emil Dam Seidel. A brilliant short dance film that mixes fiction and choreography under the musical direction of Montreal composer Louis Dufort.

Emil Dam Seidel
Emil Dam Seidel is an award winning film director. Most recently he wrote and directed the short interactive web series ‘Courage to Act’, for which he received the Silver Screen Young Director Award in Cannes in 2022 and was awarded silver for best campaign at the True Award 2022. The year before he directed and produced the acclaimed dance film ‘SHE’, which had its international premiere at the Fotografiska Museum in New York City in 2022, has been awarded at several occasions and selected for more than 25 film festivals across the globe. Before starting his own career as a director, Emil assisted director Thomas Vinterberg on the academy award winning film ‘Another Round’ and the academy award winning director Susanne Bier on the film ‘A Second Chance’.
