Perséphone
This film will be presented during the event La Nuit du court on March 16, 2024 at Concordia University.

Created in the form of a palimpsest between mythical references and personal mythology, Persephone sketches the trajectory of a feminine-voiced identity quest by addressing mother-daughter transmission. At the intersection of theater, visual arts, and experimental cinema, the film reinterprets the myth of Persephone in a post-#MeToo era and portrays Hades as a predator. The use of puppets and masks creates a magical and phantasmagorical atmosphere, giving a new dimension to this timeless tale.
