For it 40th edition, the Festival creates original screening spaces open to all, to present continuous, free pop-up presentations highlighting films on art.
La Nuit de la danse
Friday March 18, participate in a great celebration of dance and film!
La Nuit de la danse is a seven-hour marathon of screenings for an unforgettable experience at the Outremont Theatre.
Hofesh Shechter, Margie Gillis, Louise Lecavalier, Édouard Lock, Louise Bédard, Mistaya Hemingway, Mélanie Demers, and many others. You are invited to this special night devoted to celebrating the artists from the world of dance !
Opening Night
Hugo Latulippe’s film Je me soulève, a world première and in competition, will open its 40th edition (March 15 – 27, 2022). With theatre screenings March 15, 7:00pm, at the Monument-National in Montréal and March 16 – 17, 7:00pm, at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, the film will be preceded by Danika St-Laurent’s short film We Are Not Speaking The Same Language.
